Re: Production Consistency & Flavor Preservation

What our clients say

Feedback from roasters and distributors who rely on consistent production quality.

“The green bean lot evaluation caught a moisture issue we had missed for months. Since correcting our supplier specs, we’ve cut defect rate by nearly 40%.”

M. Ndlovu

Head Roaster, Durban Coffee Works

“Thermodynamic profiling gave us a repeatable curve for our flagship single origin. We now hit the same flavor target batch after batch, even on different days.”

L. Botha

Production Manager, Cape Roasters

“Our three-group La Marzocco was pulling shots with a 6-second variance between groups. After calibration, every group is within 0.3 seconds. Huge difference in service.”

Operations Director, Urban Bean Supply

Terms & Conditions of Service

All quality control consulting, sensory analysis, and calibration services provided by Sevenmilesroasters are subject to the following definitions and limitations. By engaging our services, you acknowledge these terms.

1. Scope of Analysis

Green bean lot evaluations are based on representative samples submitted by the client. Results reflect the condition of the sampled lot only and do not guarantee the uniformity of the entire shipment unless full-lot testing is explicitly contracted. Moisture content readings are taken using calibrated equipment with a margin of error of ±0.2%.

2. Roast Profile Engineering

Thermodynamic roast profiles are developed for the specific roaster, bean origin, and batch size provided during the consultation. Profiles are tested under controlled conditions; variations in ambient temperature, humidity, or equipment wear may alter outcomes. Replication of profiles on different machinery or with different bean lots requires revalidation.

3. Equipment Calibration

Industrial espresso system calibration adjusts pressure, temperature, and flow parameters to the client’s stated blend and target extraction yield. Calibration does not cover repairs or replacement of worn components. A pre-service inspection report will identify any mechanical issues that may affect calibration results.

4. Staff Training

Training sessions cover standard operating procedures for industrial espresso systems and processing safety as outlined in the training agreement. Certification of completion does not imply ongoing proficiency; refresher training is recommended every six months or after equipment changes.

5. Liability

Sevenmilesroasters’ liability is limited to the value of the specific service rendered. We are not responsible for production losses, spoilage, or revenue impacts resulting from the application of our recommendations. Clients retain full responsibility for final product quality and regulatory compliance.

These terms are effective as of the date of service engagement and supersede any prior agreements or representations. For full legal terms, refer to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
